I’ve never been in a big city on my own before.
It’s different being in a big city compared to my small town of Lima.
Rachel was minding her own business when she felt somebody bump into her. “I’m sorry..” The brunette mumbled.
Rachel brushed her hair from her face as she took in the sights of New York City. As happy as she was that she was here, it wasn’t meant to be this way. There was still a glooming sadness overtaking her, and she knew everybody could see it. If they looked hard enough.
